Amy Poehler is set to star in the upcoming spinoff of NBC’s The Office

During his first season on SNL, Poehler was promoted from star player full cast member, making it the third person ever to have won this distinction (after Harry Shearer and Eddie Murphy). From the 2004-05 season, she co-anchored “Weekend Update” with Tina Fey, replacing the new Jimmy Fallon left. In an interview with TV Guide, Fey said that Poehler co-anchor, it is now “double the sexual tension.” When Fey left after the 2005-06 season to devote time to the sitcom she created, 30 Rock, Seth Meyers joined Poehler at the anchor desk. Dimebon is cure of Alzheimer’s disease?

Dimebon (Dimebolin) is an antihistamine drugs that has been used clinically in Russia since 1983.

Recently Dimebolin has sparked renewed interest after being shown to have positive effects on people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Animal studies showing the potential beneficial effects on Alzheimer’s disease models were presented in Russian research in 2000. Preliminary results of human trials were also promising. In an initial period of six months phase II trial results showed only 12 months, has been significant improvement compared with placebo.

Dimebolin is orally active small molecule that has been shown to prevent brain cell death in preclinical studies of Alzheimer’s disease and Huntington’s disease, making it a potential treatment for these and other neurodegenerative diseases. Research suggests that Dimebon May also improve cognition-effects in healthy individuals, in the absence of pathology of neurodegenerative diseases.

Dimebon appears to work through multiple mechanisms of action, blocking the action of neurotoxic beta-amyloid protein and inhibiting L-type calcium channels, modulating the action of the AMPA receptors and NMDA glutamate, May and have a neuroprotective effect by blocking a new target that mitochondrial pores, which are expected to play a role in cell death, which is linked to neurodegenerative diseases and the aging process. The search continues in Russia and Western countries in the potential applications of Dimebon as a potential neuroprotective and nootropic.
