During his first season on SNL, Poehler was promoted from star player full cast member, making it the third person ever to have won this distinction (after Harry Shearer and Eddie Murphy). From the 2004-05 season, she co-anchored “Weekend Update” with Tina Fey, replacing the new Jimmy Fallon left. Poehler has confirmed it will return in 2008 - 2009 season SNL. Variety.com report on July 15, 2008, it was in final negotiations to star in The Untitled “The Office” Spin-off series by the authors Greg Daniels and Mike Schur set to air on Thursday after the Office of departure autumn 2008 on NBC.
